At Old Town Massage Center. we offer a complete line of services for the expecting mother. All pregnancy massage is preformed only by therapists with specialized training in the art of prenatal massage.
Pregnancy Massage:
At Old Town Massage Center we offer safe and therapeutic massage sessions designed to eliviate the stresses of pregnancy and promote mother-child bonding and encourage over all wellness throughout gestation and beyond. Pregnancy massage is conducted in positions that are safe for the mother and infant, and that allow for full body relaxation and only by Certified Massage Therapists with advanced training in pregnancy massage.
Pregnancy Massage is priced at
$90 for 60 minutes
$130 for 90 minutes
Packages of 5 and 10 massages are also available at a discount.
Jette Hansen will do out calls for pregnant women on bedrest provided they have written authorization from their doctor. Fees for this service vary according to location and session length and start as low as $125.
Post par tum work:
Post par tum massage is also offered to support the mother in her new role. This work helps the mother return to her previous health and stamina and assists in promoting mother-child bonding. Post par tum work is priced the same as prenatal massage.
Infant Massage Instruction:
To further support parents in their new roles, Infant Massage instruction is also offered at Old Town Massage Center. The instructor demonstrates safe infant massage techniques and and works one-on-one with parents in achieving familarity and confidence when massaging their infant. The strokes are designed to promote bonding and parent-child communication, to help overcome gass and colic and to encourage sensory integration in the child. At the same time, infant massage provides the regular heath benefits of massage, increased circulation, better digestion, increased inmune response, decreased stress levels, in the infant.
Infant massage instruction is priced at $160 for 3 sessions up to 60 mins in length.
They may be held in the comfort of your home or at Old Town Massage Center.
